A Legacy of Service
The Telugu Desam Party was founded on 29 March 1982 by Sri N. T. Rama Rao, on the principle of Telugu vari atma gauravam — the self-respect of the Telugu people. Within nine months it had formed a government.
Four decades on, that movement reaches far beyond Andhra Pradesh. NRI TDP carries it to Telugu families across the world, through verified local chapters, member services and a direct line to the party's leadership.
